Women to Watch is an exhibition program at the National Museum of Women in the Arts designed to increase the visibility of, and critical response to, promising women artists.  Presented every three years, Women to Watch is a dynamic collaboration between the museum and its network of outreach committees. The committees participating in New Worlds worked with curators in their regions to create shortlists of artists. From this list, NMWA curators selected the artists and works to exhibit at the museum in 2024. CCNMWA partnered with Nora Abrams, Mark G. Falcone Director, MCA Denver, who selected Kim Dickey, Ana Maria Hernando, Maia Ruth Lee, Suchitra Mattai, and Senga Nengudi for consideration from the Colorado Committee. NMWA's curators selected Ana Maria Hernando for inclusion in the next Women to Watch exhibition, New Worlds, which will open to the public in Washington D.C. April 14, 2024. Visit NMWA.org to learn more about the exhibition and the included artists.
